At LWBC you can fill out an application to the college at any time of the year for determination of acceptance and an academic course plan that the student will be approved to register for enrollment. It must be understood that for ITT the Academic Calendar begins in Septemeber and ends in June (Applications for students desiring to join ITT will be accepted year round, but in order to start the program when desired - the enrollment registration must be received before August.). Students who have already been certified through ITT, are encouraged to apply and enroll to continue their studies in either the Theological Seminary or the Aguirre School of Music.
The Application Process takes approximately two months considering the fact that all twelve articles of requirements must be fulfilled in order to even be considered a candidate for acceptance. The College Application Fee is automatically applied toward the Enrollment Registration Fee if the student is accepted into the College. If the circumstance deems otherwise, the fee is NON-REFUNDABLE as all other tuition and fees are. To request a college application please click below.
Prospective students must meet the minimal age requirement of 17-years old in order to be considered for admissions (schools/programs within LWBC have the authroity to set their own age restrictions) and submit an application for the school. The application must be accompanied with the $35.00 Deposit for Enrollment and it is NON-Refundable should the student not be accepted into the college.
Prospective students must be members - in good standing - of a local congregation of a Christian Denomination. If a student does not have a House of Worship - we will assist them in finding a place to worship and practice their faith. We will also imemdiately reccommend Living Word Christian Church our main Affiliation - especially if you love the environment held at the College.
Prospective students must agree and adhere to every rule and regulation of the general sector and each individual school or program that they enroll in. As a Christian Institution - integrity, honor, compassion categorize our nature. This agreement is binding alongside the Financial Obligation and is sealed through the College Handbook Contract which must be submitted with the application.
Prospective students (if knew in the faith or experienced) are to be individuals that understand the necessity of being "born-again" in relation to salvation and righteous living. While we do admit believers of any denominational background, it is essential to note what is taught in accordance with the scriptures regarding this manner.
Prospective students (unless new in the faith) are to be baptized through means of full submersion. Roman Catholic Baptisms or other forms of "Christening" do not fulfill this requirement. Baptisms are public declarations of one's faith in Christ, and therefore is the result of a person choosing to do so. LWCC offers baptismal services where new believers or students who want to enroll but do not have means to be baptized can do so.
Prospective students must be individuals of maturity and commitment to their faith in Christ. We are a higher academic institution and our policies concerning our Code of Conduct reflect just that. Thsi includes upon acceptance into the College, students represent the college and will be held responsible for conduct related issues taht do not support the mission and vission of the college, even if its done outside campus.
Prospective students are to adhere and agree to all 12-Fundamental Beliefs of the institution should they be considering attendance at LWBC. These statements of faith are MAJOR Christian Doctrines, therefore they are not up for debate. All 12 statements of faith constituted within the college are 100% biblically sound and supported throughout the entirety of scriptures.
Prospective students are to note that in order to enroll in the Theological Seminary and/or the Aguirre School of Ministry students must first acquire the Certification in Christian Theological Studies offered at the Instiute of Theology first. Students from other institutions can submit a transfer request for the certification - however 45% of coursework for our certification must be completed at ITT.
The last requirement of admissions at LWBC is an interview with the VP-Executive Director of Education, Executive Director of Student Life, and the Assistant Dean. In the interview the student will recieve the decision of the college and will also receive a detailed plan of next steps to start enrollment in the program they wish to enroll.
