Students interested in pursuing a baccalaureate degree in the field of Christian Theology must first hold a certification in Christian Theological Studies. Students who are certified in Theological Studies will have completed the necessary College Core Courses that are required in order to pursue a major in Christian Theological Studies.
Students who have completed a Bible Institute Program may be considered, however they must submit to the Senior Program Coordinator a copy of their Bible Institute Diploma and an Official Transcript from the Institution. Unofficial transcripts can be used for acceptance determination and credit transfers, however an official transcript must be on file.
This therefore implies prospective students of LWBC's Theological Seminary must have a certification in Christian Theological Studies or a Diploma from a Bible Institution. If the student does not, they fail to meet the minimum requirement for acceptance and will be advised to apply and enroll in LWBC's Institute of Theology prior to continuing their education in the seminary.
LWBC's Theological Seminary is proud to be a prominent resource to the Body of Christ for any believer who desires to study the Word of God on a professional/graduate level.
In LWBC's collaboration with Kingdom College, our students who are enrolled and successfully pass the required course of study can graduate with an undergraduate degree in Christian Theological Studies.
Effective in 2018, Living Word Bible College has become sponsored for accreditation by Kingdom College. This sponsorship grants LWBC Theology Certified Students with a total of 72-credit hours toward the accomplishment of a baccalaureate degree in Christian Theology. This leaves students with a total of 18 courses at the Theological Seminary to accomplish their professional degree in Theology. That is a total of 18-consecutive months - about a year and a half to complete the fast track program.
In contrast to ITT, that accepts a cohort of students every September. The TS accepts new students every month, as courses are a month long. This then means that each month a different course is offered. Courses for every three months are released on a quarterly basis and students are to register for each individual course. An application is not a registration for enrollment.
The completion of the program is At-Your-Pace, meaning that you do not need to take the courses consecutively you are free to enroll in whichever course you desire at any month. However, it should be understood that for a faster achievement of the program students will be advised to enroll consecutively in courses.
In comparison to other higher-ed institutions, seminaries, and colleges - LWBC's Theological Seminary offers its Fast Track Program at an affordable rate. Instead of paying an annual matriculation, students are billed per month of enrollment. Each course cost a total of $200.00(USD) and must be paid at the time of registration for enrollment.
Effective in 2018, Living Word Bible College has become sponsored for accredidation by Kingdom College. Below is adopted from the Kingdom College website.
"After several meetings between authorities of both institutions and an analysis about the realities of theological education in Latin American countries and Hispanics living in the United States of America, the Didactic Philanthropic Foundation and the New York Theological Seminary signed an important agreement that will benefit both institutions. The agreement basically includes the following clauses:
1. Baccalaureate students from Kingdom College (Sponsored by the Didactic Philanthropic Foundation) can enter any New York Theological Seminary Master's Program.
2. Kingdom College students, who graduate at the Masters level (64 credits), can directly enter the New York Theological Seminary Doctorate of Christian Ministry program. Hispanics living in the USA can enter the NYTS without the need to be documented.
*** Please note that without the correct documentation they cannot apply for scholarships.***
3. Students of the 2-year New York Theological Seminary Certified program (among Hispanics) can complete their Bachelor's degree (college) with the Kingdom College and continue their career, Master's and Doctorate."
The aforementioned clauses effective September 2018 have been adopted by Living Word Bible College with the commencement of our Higehr Education Program sponsored by Kingdom College. With this sponsorship, students of Living Word Bible College can convert their course of study with the institution to collegiate credit towards a Bachelor's of Theological Studies/Christian Ministry with Living Word Bible College's Higher Education Program in conjunction with Kingdom College and the Didactic Philanthropic Foundation and New York Theological Seminary.
Please note that our Higher Education Program is the only English-Speaking seminary that is sponsored by Kingdom College.
Credits are non-transferrable and must only be used within Living Word Theological Seminary in conjunction with Kingdom College.
